I find it elevating, and exhilerating.

I stumbled on this video courtesy of Spoonfork, whose blog I read through one of two fat-positive feeds I follow.

I've watched or listened to it almost daily since she first posted it.

I know that science and religion are supposed to be these two solitudes, poised in vehement opposition one to the other. I've never seen things that way, probably because my earliest faith teachers (hi, Mom and Dad) never saw a distinct opposition.

This makes me want to go out for drinks with chemists and physicists and astronomers and biologists and ask them what the world looks like at the learning and growing edge of their field of study- and what that reveals to them about the mind of God.
